Weekly Menu Plan {Sept. 16-22nd}

We actually followed our menu plan all week last week!  Oh how I love it when that happens!  I’m hoping to have the same success this week.  With football games, practices, bible study groups, and planning for another upcoming Grocery Savings Workshop–I’m hoping to take full advantage of the little pockets of time I tend to waste.  I’ve come to realize that they truly are my best friend when I use them and not waste them!  A lot can get done in 15 minutes when I put my mind to it!

Breakfast::

  • Breakfast Burritos
  • Breakfast Pizza {recipe coming!}
  • Oatmeal
  • Cereal

Lunches::

  • Taco Pockets with shredded lettuce/diced tomatoes.
  • Sandwich Wraps.  Fruit.
  • Tortizzas {tortillas pizzas}
  • Leftovers.

Dinners::

  • Monday:: Chicken Enchiladas.  Refried Beans.  Spanish Rice. {$4, 8 servings}
  • Tuesday:: Turkey Scallopini.  Mashed Potatoes.  Veggies. {$3.50,  8 servings}
  • Wednesday:: Stuffed Sandwich {on french bread}.  Ranch Beans. {$4.75, 8 servings}
  • Thursday:: Turkey Ala King. {$3.25, 8 servings}
  • Friday–Pizza/Popcorn/Movie Night:: Meat Lovers and Veggie Lovers.  Cheese Bread. {$12, 10 servings}
  • Saturday:: Boneless Chicken Wings {AKA Chicken Lips}.  Onion Petals.  3 Bean Salad. {$7, 10 servings}

Total Cost of Dinner Meals:: $37.75 Average Cost Per Serving:: 63¢/ea

Snacks::

  • Chocolate Chip Muffins
  • Popcorn
  • Smoothies
  • Apple Hand Pies
