Spring Cleaning Checklist

by GettingFreedom on March 8, 2011

The grass is greening up, and the birds are beginning to chirp.  It’s almost warm enough to open the windows and let the cool breeze flow through.  Ah! Oh how I love Spring!

Spring is a season full of new beginnings, all the way from the grass, to the flowers, to your garden, to the animals, to your relationships, to your home.  If there is something you’ve always wanted to do differently or more efficiently, now is the time to take control and make good on that dream! I for one, having many things that I need to re-gain control of after living in Survival Mode for 9 months.

And what better time to start than with Spring Cleaning? Oh, I know!  Spring Cleaning?  Do I have to? No, but it sure does make for a relaxing home.  Not only that, but I’ve found that when I do take the time to do a thourough Spring Cleaning, it’s easier for me to keep up with my day to day tasks.

If that alone doesn’t make you excited, maybe this will::

As a reader, I’m offering you a FREE Download of my Spring Cleaning Checklist! This will be the first in a series of downloads that will go perfectly in your Home Management Binder!  Make sure you subscribe for free email updates so you don’t miss them!

I’ve never done an official spring cleaning. Even when I followed the Fly Lady. Maybe if I start on your list now, I’ll have it done by summer. (I don’t much care for cleaning!)

I’m visiting from WFMW. Today I posted about monthly menu planning/

I love your list!! You might turn me into a Home Management Binder creator/user yet ;) I desperately need/want to spring clean this year, maybe with your list I’ll actually DO it!

It seems as though spring cleaning is on everyone’s mind today! I really like your list especially as it has lists things that need done outside too! Winter has been especially brutal in my neck of the woods so spring cannot come fast enough.

Grass? You have grass? We have another 2″ of fresh snow! Aaarrrgh! Not much point in spring cleaning until we get through the muddy melt down. So. Tired. Of. Winter.

Great list! I have never Spring cleaned either, but we are in a new house, so it is kind of like a clean sweep! :)
