Menu Plan Week of August 30th-September 5th

by GettingFreedom on August 30, 2009

It’s September–which means that fall is near! I think I just may pull out all of my decorations this week. Not only is fall approaching, but my oldest’s birthday is Friday. Eeekkk, he’ll be 9. He had a couple of friends over this past weekend for a celebration of sorts. He really doesn’t ask for much, which makes things a ton easier. This weekend we will have a small family celebration with our traditional cake and ice cream and the birthday boy’s choice of meal. We’re thinking of jetting back to the hometown for a weekend kayaking on the river. He loves kayaking! We’ll just have to see about that though. Willie will be gone all week, attending a “school” through his workplace, and he may just want to be home after almost a full week gone.
I was busy entertaining boys all weekend, and attacking mountains of paper clutter, so I didn’t have much time to plan my meals. Thankfully, Tiffany over at Eat At Home Cooks has put together a week full of meals, as well as one dessert item. Not only that, but she writes out the grocery list for you.
Perfect!
So, this week, my dinner plans are courtesy of Eat At Home Cooks. Be sure to check her downloadable menu plans and grocery lists. Below I have included her meal ideas, as well as the price breakdown. You can find the recipes here.
