Menu Plan for Aug 28th-Sept. 3rd

I cannot even begin to tell you just how excited I was to plan my 2 week menu plan and go grocery shopping {with a planned purpose!}.  Sometimes the small things that I do as a homemaker are the things that I take for granted.  Menu Planning and grocery shopping being 2 of them.

Anyway, all of that to say::  I have a menu plan and I’m pretty sure I’ll actually be able to stick to it.

Breakfast::

  • Oatmeal w/Dried Fruit
  • Scrambled Eggs and Bacon Breakfast Burrito
  • Fruit/Yogurt/HM Granola Parfait
  • Pancakes and Sausage
  • Cold Cereal

Lunches::

  • Peanut Butter and Banana Tortilla Roll Ups
  • Lunchables {scored these for $1/ea and the kids are tickled!}
  • Cold Sandwiches.  Veggie Sticks. Muffins.

Dinners::

  • Sunday:: Tuna Casserole. Peas. Fresh Fruit. {$5.50; 8 servings}
  • Monday:: Chef Salad. Homemade Breadsticks. {$4.25; 8 servings}
  • Tuesday:: HM Ravioli {going to attempt it!}  French BreadHome Canned Green Beans. {$6-ish; 8 servings}

  • Wednesday:: Sweet and Sour Chicken.  Fried Rice.  HM Egg Rolls. {$4.50; 8 servings}
  • Thursday:: Salisbury Steak.  Mashed Potatoes/Gravy.  Corn on the Cob. {$4; 6 servings}
  • Friday:: Pizza/Popcorn/Movie Night! Chicken and Vegetable.  Cheeseburger. {$7; 10 servings}

  • Saturday:: Camping! {Haven’t quite narrowed it down yet. :) }

Total Dinner Cost:: $31.25 Average Cost Per Serving:: .65¢ each!

Snacks::

  • Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
  • Jelly Roll
  • Fresh Fruit
