Meals with Deals

Seriously?!  Is it really April already??  Another whirlwind weekend is behind us..and it’s time to truck on along. 

Soccer season has started back up which means crazy busy weeknights!  In order to curb the I Wanna Eat Out’s, I’ve got to be on top of things.  Taking full advantage of the crockpot and extra snippets of time to make up some freezer meals is going to be essential to staying in budget during yet another busy season.

Breakfast::

  • Fruit Parfaits {granola, yogurt, various fruits}
  • Peanut Butter Oatmeal
  • Scrambled Eggs and Sausage.
  • Cream Cheese and Peach Stuffed French Toast

Lunches::

  • Hummus and Pita Bread.
  • Tuna Melts.
  • Grilled Cheese. Veggie Sticks.

Dinners::

  • Sunday: Raid the Fridge {We arrived home right at dinner time after being gone all weekend.  No desire to cook–so if you were hungry, you had to raid the fridge!}
  • Monday:  Chicken Tortellini Soup.  Salad. {$4.75; 6 servings}
  • Tuesday: Barley and Lentil Soup.  Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Arctic Orange Pie. {$4.25; 8 servings} Didn’t get to this last week.
  • Wednesday: Cashew ChickenEgg RollsOriental Noodles. {$7; 10 servings}
  • Thursday:  Venison Roast. cooked with Potatoes and Carrots.  Rolls. {$2.50; 8 servings}
  • Friday: Pizza/Popcorn/Movie Night Garlic Chicken Alfredo Pizza. Taco Pizza. {$7; 10 servings}
  • Saturday:  Leftover Day!

Total Cost of Dinners:: $25.50 Average Cost per Serving::  61¢!

Snacks::

  • Blueberry Muffins
  • Banana Bread
  • Hummus with Veggies
