Homemade Ranch Seasoning Recipe

by GettingFreedom on February 27, 2012

I received an email from a reader that reminded me that I was going to share my Homemade Ranch Seasoning Recipe after posting the Sausage Wonton Cups. Where is my brain! So sorry!

Stay on top of me friends!  After 4 kids my mind is often very forgetful! :)

I absolutely love the ease of this seasoning mix!  We will never purchase another one of those crazy overpriced packets from the store.  The savings is just too much–not to mention the added benefit of no MSG.  Use one tablespoon of homemade ranch seasoning  recipe in place of any recipe that calls for dry ranch seasoning mix.

  1. In a small bowl combine all of the spices and stir until combined.
  2. Store in an airtight container, like an old spice jar or canning jar.
  3. To Make Dressing::
  4. Mix 1 Tablespoon of Homemade Ranch Seasoning with 1 Cup Mayonnaise with 1 Cup Milk.
  5. For Vegetable Dip::
  6. Mix 1 Tablespoon of Homemade Ranch Seasoning with ½ Cup Mayonnaise and ½ Cup Sour Cream.

No dry buttermilk on hand?? Omit from the recipe, but when mixing up dressing substitute buttermilk for the milk.
