Home Canning Grape Juice {Salvaged Sunday}

by GettingFreedom on March 3, 2012

Welcome to another edition of Salvaged Sunday, where we make the most of our trash!

This week I’m sharing an idea that a friend found on Pinterest and I knew I had to try it.  It still needs a little bit of tweaking to fit our taste–but we’ve still enjoyed it nonetheless.

How to Can Grape Juice

I found some grapes that were on manager’s special at our local grocer for 79¢ a pound!  Hard to beat that price, but they needed to be used quickly {and I snatched up almost $6 worth!}.  We ate a lot of them, but the rest I canned and made homemade grape juice.  Soooo good!  Although, I think I will play around with the sugar content.
