Homemade Christmas Day 42: Fabric Flowers

by GettingFreedom on November 14, 2012

As the mother of a pre-teen daughter, embellishments are part of my everyday life.  I’ve long wanted to create fabric flowers to put on headbands, hair ties, pins, or anything else--but just haven’t made the time.

This year I’m hoping to create some fabric flowers out of some scrap fabric that is taking up some valuable real estate and gift them to my daughter in the form of magnets for her locker.  And quite possibly some for fabric flower pins for her backpack or a fabric flower headband {or two}.

I can’t get over them–they’re too cute!

Little girls aren’t the only ones that would love fabric flowers! Fabric flowers would make perfect teacher gifts, too!
