Dove® Intensive Repair Conditioner Reveiw

by GettingFreedom on September 6, 2012

One thing I’ve never been known for is my hair.

It’s pretty thin, it doesn’t lay the way I want it to, and there’s just nothing spectacular about it.

I’m constantly trying to find that product or that haircut that will just make my hair stand out and stay in {why does my hair keep falling out, anyway?!}.  All within the name of my budget though! You won’t see me purchasing anything from the salon {unless they got that baby on a 75% sale or something!}.

This photo, taken while I was in LA is further proof that my hair is lacking!

While I long for totally amazing hair–that is one of the things I totally neglect.  For instance, I’m waay past due on getting a hair cut.  I think my last one was almost a year ago! It hasn’t grown much since then, either. *sigh*

Why am I telling you this?

I was recently asked if I wanted to try Dove® Intensive Repair Conditioner–and I  immediately said yes.  My hair is worn out from summer, and I was anxious to see what Dove could do for it.

The verdict?

I like it!

When I first seen the bottle it reminded me of my favorite lotion. The packaging was not like my usual conditioner–but like my lotion–and the texture was more lotion like, as well.

After using it for a few weeks, I did notice a difference in the way that my hair felt.  It wasn’t so coarse feeling and it was easier to comb through. And the smell {which is oddly a big thing for me} was not overpowering, but was just the right amount.  If there is one.

I’m curious!  Why is your favorite conditioner your favorite?
