Apple Cinnamon Pizza

by GettingFreedom on April 12, 2010

I used to make Apple Cinnamon Pizza a couple times a month, and then I somehow forgot all about it.  It is super easy, even the youngest of cooks can make it with no problems.  While it may be easy, Apple Cinnamon Pizza is still sure to please.

All you need is:

2 cans Cinnamon Rolls

1 can Apple Pie Filling

Cinnamon (optional)

Take one cinnamon roll at a time, and press flat onto a pizza pan.  Continue doing so until you have a circular pizza shape.  I didn’t use 3 of my cinnamon rolls because my daughter doesn’t like Apple Pie Filling, but feel free to use all of them in your pizza.

Bake in a 400° oven for about 10 minutes to pre-bake.  Once slightly golden, top with apple pie filling and a dash (or two) of cinnamon, if desired.  Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes or until center is cooked through.  Top with icing, and serve.

What an easy, yummy treat! I completely understand about “forgetting” about recipes. I have done that many times.

What a wonderful idea! I’m not a big apple pie fan myself, but this looks great and seems like it could be very “adaptable” too. Thanks for sharing such a fun recipe idea. :)

What a great idea to use the cinnamon rolls as a “crust.” I will definitely be trying this one out! Thanks for sharing.
