Thanks for joining us on Two Cent Tuesday!

I really enjoyed reading your post. Just yesterday I processed 9 pie pumpkins and 12 butternut squash from my garden. I had a bumper crop and sold off an additional 12 to friends. The best part is I used leftover seed from two years ago! There really was no cost at all for me. :)

Ooops - I mean 15-20 minutes? If not, do you have an idea of temp and time for a regular oven? Thanks!

Thanks for posting this. I've never eaten fresh pumpkin that I know of so I'm curious of the taste difference. Is the 25 minutes for the regular oven?

I LOVE fresh Pumpkin! I don't eve like canned pumpkin, but love the fresh! The seeds are my fave, too. We accidentally cross-pollinated ours with zucchini this year, so it will be an adventure to see if you can use a "pumpkini!"

I'm going to have to look at your link for cooking in a pressure cooker! I'm having a pumpkin-themed first birthday party for my daughter in a couple of weeks and may need a lot of puree. Sounds genius! Do you use a big pumpkin or smaller ones?

Those are great tips! Thanks for sharing! I think I will give it a try, especially b/c canned pumpkin is apparently hard to find.
~Liz
