Since you are a "canner", I thought I would offer you this tip, which I found at the Frugal living blog over on Taste of Home. The lady there caught water that she was "waiting" to get hot and then dumped it in the washer, which she said made an unexpected difference. Well, I haven't gotten that far, but instead of dumping the hot water from my hot water bath canner, I dumped it into my washer. Has to help and its clean water for the most part expect for a few hard water deposits floating around in there.

Just a tip for you since you give us so many good ones.

I'm impressed that you are still updating your goals. That means you are sticking with them. Just remembering and working on them is a large part of the battle.

I am a new reader of your blog and your updates motivate me to set some goals in writing in other areas. We are new to Ramsey and just started and this past month has been a kicker for us too. Like you said a busy month can be rough on the budget and I found that because I was contstantly preparing for our next event (camping, holiday, etc) I was not sticking to my meal plans and coupons etc. I also had to chuckle when you mentioned "The Shred" I started it too with my sister when she was on a three week school break. I have not exercised since. That first week back on it is gonna be PAINFULL! LOL. You would think that alone would make me keep up with it. Thanks for your posts!-Bree
