The Garden is Growing!

by GettingFreedom on June 11, 2009

The past week has been a whirlwind of unplanned activities, so I’ve not had a lot of time to spend in the garden. The other evening my husband and I decided to take a stroll through and see how things were progressing. I was delighted when I seen my first fruits!

Little Zuchinni, and tons of other blooms.

Sweet 100 Cherry Tomatoes

Blurry Roma Tomatoes

My beans are also doing very well. My pole beans (Purple Podded, as well as Kentucky Wonder) have grown all the way up the fence.

To my surprise, this morning I seen blooms on my Contender Bush Beans. Can’t wait to be eating some fresh green beans. Nothing beats it!

These are Pie Pumpkins. Can’t wait for some more Homemade Pumpkin Pie!

The row to the far right (you can barely see it) is Fish Peppers, and the ones on the left are Banana Peppers.

Cherry Bomb Peppers and blooms.

Those are 2 of my Brocolli plants, you can see my beans in the background.

My tomatillos. They are looking a little better, and thankfully I never had to resort to chemicals! Let’s hope I can keep it that way. Now, to get them some support….

My Golden Cal Peppers. Buds are beginning to form on these.

I love it!

I love all the varieties you've planted! What kind of ground cover is under your Roma tomatoes? I thought we'd tried everything, but I haven't seen that before.

Wow, you're quite the gardener, look at all those healthy plants. Being that we are in the North East we do not have any blossoms or fruit yet.

All looks so yummy, I can hardly wait for everything to produce.

Oh, wow! You have a wonderful garden. I got so tickled as did my children when I found some little cherry tomatoes off our plants. It is our first year gardening. :D
