I’m slowly trying to switch to whole wheat in my baked goods. Surprisingly, we like it so much better. For this week’s swap I decided to share a recipe I found for Whole Wheat Biscuits.
WW Biscuits
1c all purpose flour
1 c whole wheat flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 c butter or margarine
1 c milk
Mix the dry ingredients together first. Once those are incorporated, add butter. Cream this together until crumbly, then stir in the milk with a fork.
The mixture is thinner than normal bisuits, so I just do them “drop” style. They may not be the prettiest biscuits, but they are light, fluffy, and nutritious! Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes.

@jenn, You know that might just be a vital piece of information! Somehow it must have gotten deleted from the original post! Sorry! It should say–350º for 15-20 minutes.
I’ve updated it now. Thanks for pointing that out!

@GettingFreedom,
Thanks! I made these tonight with the creamed chicken and I just guessed at the baking time. We all loved it and I will be making it again! Thanks!
