14 Days to a Clean Home-Kitchen

by GettingFreedom on March 27, 2013

The kitchen is the hub of our entire home.  I spend quite a bit of time in there, and since our space is rather open, it tends to be a focal point. Because of this, it tends to stay pretty organized and clean–at least on the surface. :)

I obviously have some work to do behind cabinet doors and drawers!

Here’s my plan for today::

  • Clean out Cabinets/Pantry/Fridge/Freezers and discard any outdated foods.
  • Deep Clean Oven, Stovetops {Take off the knobs, burners, and burner covers}
  • Wipe off and clean any small appliances {toaster, toaster oven, microwave, food processor,
  • blender, etc}
  • Fill the detergent cup in your dishwasher with vinegar and run empty.
  • Wipe off top of refrigerator.
  • Clean off tops of cabinets and wipe off cabinet fronts.
  •  Declutter countertops and cabinet tops.
  • Check appliances/sink and make sure everything is working properly.
  • Update Recipe Binder. Toss any recipes that failed, and file away any new ones.
  • Polish Silverware

I doubt that I will get to updating my Recipe Binder and Polishing the Silverware. Instead I plan on doing them tomorrow when I tackle my dining space.

I would love it if you joined me in my 14 Days to Clean Home-Spring Clean Naturally Series! You can Download this FREE 14 Days to a Clean Home Plan here!
